Wig Care Guide
Your wig is an investment in your confidence — treat her like the queen she is. Follow these care tips to keep your BSlay Beauty wig looking flawless for months to come.
Washing Your Wig
- Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb before washing, starting from the ends and working up.
- Fill a basin with cool water and add a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo.
- Submerge the wig and gently swish — do not scrub or wring.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water until water runs clear.
- Apply a generous amount of conditioner from mid-shaft to ends. Leave for 5–10 minutes.
- Rinse with cool water and gently squeeze out excess water with a towel — never rub.
Drying Your Wig
- Place on a wig stand and allow to air dry naturally whenever possible.
- If using a blow dryer, use the lowest heat setting and a diffuser attachment.
- Never sleep in a wet wig.
Styling Your Wig
- Always use a heat protectant spray before applying any heat tools.
- Use a flat iron or curling wand on low to medium heat (under 350°F).
- Avoid excessive heat on lace areas to preserve the hairline.
- For curly and kinky textures, finger-detangle only and use a curl refresher spray.
Storing Your Wig
- Store on a wig stand or mannequin head to maintain shape.
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Use a silk or satin bag for travel or long-term storage.
Lace Care Tips
- Remove adhesive gently using a lace glue remover or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton pad.
- Clean the lace with a soft brush and mild shampoo.
- Never pull or tug at the lace — it is delicate and irreplaceable.
