How we measure length
Hair length is measured when the hair is stretched straight, from the top of the cap to the end of the hair. This is the industry standard. Curly, kinky and wave textures will look shorter than the stated length when worn in their natural pattern — a 20″ deep wave wig typically wears around 14–16″. This is normal and is not a defect.
Colour variation
We photograph our hair under studio lighting and we do not retouch colour. Even so, screens vary: the same wig can look warmer or cooler on a phone, a laptop and a tablet. Natural hair also takes colour unevenly, so small tone differences between units of the same colour code are expected, particularly on processed shades such as 613 blonde, 99J burgundy and highlight blends.
If colour accuracy matters to your order, email us before you buy and we will describe the tone in detail or send an additional photograph.
Density and fullness
Density is stated as a percentage — 150%, 180%, 210%. Higher density means more hair on the same cap. Photographs are taken on the density stated on the product page; a lower density will look less full than the image.
Lifespan
Where we state an expected lifespan, it assumes proper care as described in our Wig Care Guide: gentle co-washing, air drying on a stand, low heat, and a satin or silk covering at night. Heat styling, colouring, bleaching and daily wear all shorten a unit's life. Lifespan is an estimate, not a warranty.
Colouring and bleaching
Only products marked as human hair can be coloured or bleached, and we recommend a licensed stylist. Heat-safe synthetic fibre cannot be bleached and will be damaged by it. Any unit that has been coloured, bleached, cut or otherwise altered is no longer returnable.
Slight shedding and initial scent
A small amount of shedding in the first few washes is normal for any wefted or hand-tied unit. Human hair may arrive with a faint processing scent that clears after the first co-wash.
